From Jacqueline
A few days before Christmas, Sami was feeling very ill :( We literally thought we were losing him :( His blood pressure dropped significantly, he had a high fever and went into a semi-coma. However, on Christmas Day, he suddenly woke up! All his vital signs became normal and he started communicating with us. He asked for water and 7up, ate an orange, a banana and some ice cream! Even his WBC went down a few thousands! That was a true miracle and a special Christmas gift from above to our family! We chatted and spent a sweet time together. However the last four days, Sami has been in a deep coma. More than ever, we are praying and trusting God's perfect plan for him... We love you and appreciate your support. We know God is good all the time and Sami is and will always be in HIS GRIP! Psalm 73:26 "My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever." Love, Jacqueline

My prayers and thoughts are with you Sami and Jacqueline. On Christmas day, Christ touched your life as He always does, and In His Grip we are always safe. Sami is held gently in Jesus’ arms and He is protecting him and will get him through this. Sami will soon ask for more water and 7-Up, and more oranges and ice cream. He is in all our prayers. He is our inspiration and guiding light. Stay strong sweet Jacqueline. Love you all so much.

I am continuing in prayer for Sami, for you Jacqueline and the whole family. May the warmth of God’s love wrap you around as you walk down this dark path, knowing His face is shining upon you and you are bringing glory to his name.
We haven’t stopped praying for you. You are in our daily prayers. Jesus said “I’m always with you”. Be strong and don’t lose faith, Jesus is still the same; Yesterday, today & tomorrow. Don’t be afraid from tomorrow, Jesus is already there. Stay positive, be the strong person that God created you as you have always been.
We love you sooooooooooooooo much. God is good.
Habibetna Jaqueline, Sami, and the rest of the Lahouds, Thank you for sharing the wonderful gift you received on Christmas Day! You are constantly in our thoughts and prayers. Lots of love and kisses from Lebanon
It is wonderful to see how the Lord is comforting your hearts. What happened with you on Christmas is a wonderful testimony of the Lord’s love for you, Sami, and your sweet family. I pray that the Lord will help us see this situation from His glorious perspective. Sami is in safe hands. Our Lord is in charge and He promised saying, ” I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee” (Heb 13:5). We are praying for you always. You are a blessing to all who are reading your posts.
My beloved.. he is truly in the grip of his LORD!
Thank you for this message on Epiphany, the day of bringing the Good News of the new Christ to the gentiles, so that they too would know that he came for them — that they too were chosen by God. Sami has been chosen by God, believes in God and God’s plan, and is being watched over by God. He is a faithful servant and a wonderful husband, father, and good friend. May God be with you this day and all the rest of your lives, and thank you so much for sharing your courageous journey of faith and prayer with us all.
Jaqueline, We are so thankful you and your family had a wonderful Christmas Miracle. Our prayers are with you, Sammy, and your family.
Dear Jacqueline and Sami:

Deepest condolences. Our love and prayers continue. Your Christmas gift was truly a miracle, and we thank you for sharing it. Sami will never leave our hearls. We love you all.
My deepest sympathies to Jackie and the kids. What a special “warrior for Christ” Sammy was. I feel privileged to have taught SS with him at Sugar Creek. What a role model! Looking forward to seeing you again in heaven sometime in the future.
In His Grip, Donnie
Jacko, our hearts go out to you, the children and all the family. May the Lord always hold you, shelter and console you for your loss.
