11-11-12 Update

My blasts (Leukemia Cells) are still at 1% in my blood, which is a reflection that I still have some blast in my bone marrow. I had a bone marrow aspiration last week and it reflected an 8% blast, which is a blessing since it was at 85% in my bone marrow before starting the new medication.  At this stage the physicians are really happy with the results and believe that the medication is working great.  We are currently waiting on my blood counts to start ramping up to their normal levels.  Once that happens and my blasts are “crushed”, then I will be considered in complete remission … hopefully soon.

As a side note, I was cleaning one of my packed drawers a few days ago and ran into a very old, yet still valid, Lahoud Dating Application that I had made when boys started showing interest in Wadad and Jeanette (ya yes a long time ago).  I am attaching it for your enjoyment and use  …  I am sure that Jad will use it “as-is” for Joya, especially that it already has the Lahoud name on it.  🙂

Still In His Grip

Samsoum! Ya Habib Albe enta!! Awesome news!!! PTL habibi. I’ve never look forward to see another “0” in my life… (I’ve had so many of those when i was in school). But for sure that’s all what I really want to see in your blasts, a perfect ” 0 “.

Now!!! As for the serious stuff… Thank you for thinking of me and sending me the application!! It will come handy when Joya will be allowed to start dating “40 years” from now 😜😜.
Meantime, remember the picture of the “special” room I shared with you????
That will be my application 💪💪💪.

I love your sense of humor ya az3ar, but not as much as I love YOU!!!
Keep the good news coming our way Samsoum.
    I love you.

Sami, I wish I had this application several years ago. With Kelsey (18) and Devan (14) this will come in handy. Can I get the names of the two Lebanese gentlemen? *wink*

So glad to see that your sense of humor is still the same. We continue to pray for your complete recovery. Praising Him in all things.

    Blessings,

    Trudi

Only in this situation we love the 1% and less in God’s grace…So happy to hear the news Sami, God’s blessings and peace around you ya rab. your application is a funny sample of A great loving father…who cares and wants to protect his children in all ways possible…and is trying to scare and warn those who mess up with our loved ones……BUT nothing compared to the funnier scarier more serious FATHER who is looking around you 24/7 assuring that one hair does not fall without his permission!! …yeh Sami…just like how jealous Father is to us.Great application… ..

Praise God for continued healing. We continue to pray for complete healing. We are meeting a family at the beach with the boat this weekend and the grandfather of a 10 year old girl will baptize her in the bay. God is Good.

I love the application!! I printed it. Angela is laughing her head off now. My daughter is 1, so I have time (30 years or so) before I need to worry about it. 🙂

Glad to hear about the progress. Miss ya at work.

Sami – Romans 8:28 say “and we know that all things will work together for the good of those who love The Lord and are the called according to His purpose.”
I love your resolve and trust in The Lord. I cannot start to comprehend how this attack from the enemy has tried you and your family, but I appreciate your continue faith and trust in The Lord. You are a modern day example to those who believe that Jesus can and will heal! I know it gets hard sometimes, but I pray that during your quiet moments with God, He is reassuring you of His love for you and the all thing will work out for your good.
Jesus died on the cross that You may be healed, delivered and set free from all calamity. I lift up your family to the Almighty God and a pray for strength for each of them as they walk through this journey with you. God’s grace and peace be with you today! No matter how great the enemies attacks are on your body, God loves you and says we are fighting from Victory! You are a living testimony for God!
Standing with you in faith, believing Jesus will heal you.

    Love,
    Colette
