Well, things keep moving in the right direction. PTL !
Today’s report reflected that my Platelets Volume Jumped from 152 to 219. So far I am told that within a few days, if everything stays on the right track, I will be able to go home and come back later for my follow-up tests … < Halt! please allow me to reflect on that thought> … I was told that within a few days I might be able to actually leave isolation, العزلة, l’isolement, aislamiento …. and go home, hug my wife, my kids, my mom, my sisters, my brother-in-law, my nephews, nieces, friends, move freely without Alaris following me around, open the fridge when I want to, grab whatever I want, talk to people face to face (of course with medical masks) … I mean WOW ! All the things that I have (and you have) taken for granted for years, have all of a sudden become priceless to me. MD Anderson is filled with people who dream they could spend a minute in the shoes of a healthy human body… just one minute, to drink what they long to drink or eat what they long to eat or just hug who they long to hug …. yet, when was the last time we paused and thanked the Lord for these simple yet priceless blessings? yes we can have a bad hair day, yes we can always find something to feed our self-pity … however, when was the last time we paused and said … I can drink and eat freely, with no pain, PTL … I have a healthy body, with no catheters hanging out of it, PTL … I believe the minute self-pity or frustration sticks on us, for any reason, we need to visit the closest cancer center and just walk the hallways … see the faces, feel the pain … and I am sure that we will quickly pause and realize how much we have taken for granted … and PTL .

Such great news Sami! I’m praying for more… I love that saying, “Don’t tell God how big your problems are, tell your problems how big your God is.” I hope you’ll be able to ditch Alaris for Jacqueline, real soon.
Beloved, this makes me think of the words to a song… Our God is an awsome God, he reigns from heaven above, with wisdom power and might, our God is an awesome God!!! Bro, bro, my brother, my brother (now, just for a laugh cause you know me.. repeat that our loud the way I would actually say it… LOL… Okay, don’t hurt youself laughing). I know you can mock me and just know how that would sound… I miss you man, and can’t wait til you are out of isolation, rummaging in the fridge (gaining the weight back.. hehe), eating grape leaves and all the other fine things Jacquo prepares, giving out hugs and kisses (as you love to do in person.. remember the time…”u kno the moment” …). رجل مؤمن وقوي وهاتين الصفتين ليس كل رجل يمتلكهما ايظا لسمي لحود عدة صفات اخرى لا تجدها في شخص ثاني ابدا
على سبيل المثال : اذا اراد سامي لحود فعل شيئ او اقناع المقابل على فعل شيئ هو مقتنع فيه (سامي) فأنه بمجرد جملتين لا تتجاوز مدتهما دقيقتين يقنع المقابل بكل بساطة واذا كان المقابل عنيد نوعا ما فانة لايتركة حتى ينال ما يريد

Thanks so much for your update. I am so happy for you that you get to go home. Bless you and we will continue to pray. Also, could you pray for Joseph Nuwayhid, he has been fighting cancer since he was about 3, I believe he is about 8 now. He just tried a new chemo and it did not work. He will go on hospice now and it sounds like it is not good. Mervat, his mom, is a Jordanian believer who was married to a Druze background believer. She lost her husband last year, and now it is not looking good for her son, Joseph. Would appreciate your prayers especially since you know the fight! We are praying with you and for you and praying for a special closeness to the Lord and to your family and friends!! Joy and peace to you brother, Sandy Sabra
