PLATELETS UPDATE
In less than a day we had all of August lined up with single donor volunteers.  PTL.  You left us speechless.  Thank you.
My Platelets count was stuck between 6 and a max of 8 for weeks (normal range 140-440/ acceptable in my case 40). However, once I got my first single donor dose, it jumped to 11.  Then, after my second single dose, it jumped to 27 … that is when the doctors said hold off on all donations.  They believed that my Bone Marrow is healthy again based on these jumps and wanted it to produce its own vs get used to donations.  So we cancelled the donations that were scheduled for the next few days to see how the Bone Marrow will function on its own.  The next morning the number jumped to 50.  Everyone was astonished … and this morning, still without any donations, it jumped to 93.  PTL.  Accordingly, we thank you all for quickly answering the call and volunteering to give me platelets ( I cannot thank you enough), however, mine have been raised from the dead 🙂 and are now alive and praising!  PTL.

< ALL SCHEDULED DONORS PLEASE CANCEL YOUR APPOINTMENTS SINCE WE NO LONGER NEED PLATELETS >

BONE MARROW TEST
My test is scheduled for 2PM today.  Will keep you posted.
<2:35PM Update :  BMT went really well.  No issues. No pain.  Results should be ready in the morning.  Praying for a negative. >

Again, I cannot thank you enough for your faithful prayers and support !

Wonderful News Sami ! As the Lord said “I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?” Jeremiah 32:27 He always gives more than we ask and surprises us with His beautiful miracles , may He continue what He started !
I was just talking to Micha on the phone and told her that I will write to you so she sent you her warm greetings and tells you that Cynthia remembers you in her prayer every day.

Never stop expecting a good report no matter what b/c God promised that His plans for His children are for good and not evil and to give hope and a future. He also promised long life and life more abundantly so what you see, through your eyes of faith, you shall have. Christ warned us that trials and tribulations would come but to fear not for He had overcome them ALL. Continue to maintain your peace and trust in the Lord regardless of results but based solely on the finished work of Jesus Christ and every time you have to take a test the results on paper will not matter because you already know the results Christ died and obtain for you and it is not subject to or dependent on man being in agreement. It will still hold true as long as you choose to believe. Much love, The Tobons:)

    Things I learned from S.L.:

~ There is more vitamin c in green pepper than in an orange.

~ “Sin is like dessert: compelling in it’s flavour on the tongue, yet, taxing for you to digest.., an abundance of calories, however, unnecessary, as they are empty and you are already full with nutrition” — Sami Lahoud

~ Afternoon naps on a couch, in a sun-soaked living room, after eating fava beans and green pepper, makes for some of the most placid and salient memories one could ask for.

Courage Sami.

    HI Sami,

It’s Tom Whaley from NetApp. I just heard the news about your illness and wanted to reach out to you to let you know how sorry I am. However, like you, I have tremendous faith in our good Lord and believe He will be with us every second of our all trials. It is through Him that we get our strength and courage. I also believe He still works miracles today and will look for His hand in your treatment. I’ll add you to my prayer list and will follow your progress on the blog. Stay strong, my friend.

    Sincerely,
    Tom

Beloved… Let us have a moment of praise for God’s deliverance. As Shad, Meshach, and that Bad-Negro said, “our God can join us in this fire”. Praise him for he is good!!
