Today I received a new surprise. Hair hair everywhere, yet none of it on my head. 🙂 I saw hair on my pillows, on my bed, on the floor, on the table … everywhere, yet none of it on my head. The time has come. I was warned that my hair will start falling, and surely enough, it started today. So, they gave me a shower cap to contain it until it’s all gone. I look like a cook in the kitchen (no hair in your food – guaranteed). The cool thing is that I do not have to inventory my hair to make sure I get it all back. That has already been done and covered according to Luke 12:7 ” Indeed the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So do not be afraid”. So why me worry?. btw, I was always interested in shaving my head to see how it feels – out of curiosity – however, the time was never right since I work in corporate America and that is a big no-no. Well, now I get to experience it.
Isn’t it wonderful that we serve a living God that is interested with the intricate details of our life down to the number of our hair? what a mighty and personal God we serve.
Thank you for your faithful prayers for speedy recovery. I am counting on them. 🙂
Hey dad, its so funny the way you describe how your hair is falling out! You really need to send me a pic 🙂 Don’t forget to skype and email!
Hope your feeling better!
Dear Sami!!
You crack me up!! Jeanette is right! I am envisioning you waking up to your hair everywhere!! So glad the chemo is targeting what it is supposed to target and leaving your sense of humor in tact. 🙂 Prayer and laughter is definitely the best medicine! God bless you today, tomorrow, and everyday. We love you my friend!! Love, Joe, Neala, Bronwyn, and Mary Anne.
Sami, we’ll have to call you lil’ Arnie.
Col 3 says that your (hairless) life is now hidden with Christ in God and when Christ appears, you will also appear with him in glory. So take heart – perhaps you’ll get your hair back.
Take care. I love you brother.
Thank you for sharing your journey with us.
In fervent prayer with you!
The Fact that you’re still Joking and creating smiles all around you, assures me that you are doing fine :).

Love you Ktir

God bless you brother Sami. I read this and thought of you. 1 Peter 1:6-7. When we’re distressed, the Lord is working to produce something that is more precious than gold- proven faith, which rejoices even in suffering.
Dear Cousin,
Sure we’re all praying; and by the way loosing hair will save Shampoo’s cost…
Miss you too much and may God give you all the stenght needed.

This reminds me when you gave me my first buzzcut when I was 5 then Mom took me to SuperCuts after because it was uneven lol
Love you Khalo! I’m sure the baldness emphasizes your “V” physique 😉
Love the way God chooses your words. Must agree with Jeanette on the hair. Also, I remember our chats about you getting buzzed like me. Finally, and no backlash from corporate. Hahaha.
Super shine!! number 9 Sami !!! that’s the way to go Bro…
Keep that attitude, and you are out of it before you know it !!! Let alone your faith habibi.
Love you 🙂
Reading these posts makes it hard to forget how great a man in Christ you are. And I hope you understand how great a father you are too. I miss you so much. I miss your humor. I can see despite your surroundings you still have that joy and humor as you speak (if it be through posts or virbal). What the Lord is doing through you is amazing and the way he is strengthning you. Stay strong baba ❤ Keep your eyes on the Lord. He has called you out from the boat and you are walking on water. Stay focused on him and the waves that crash violently around you will begin to fade. The Lord will never let you drown. He will be with you forever. And if it seems as if the sun has stopped shinning. Don't forget the sun is still there.
I love you so much,
Wadaddy
Love you man
